Rapid serial visual presentation (RSVP) is where a sequence of stimuli is shown to the observer at one same location to their visual field. This app applies this idea to display words one by one in the same location, with customisable, gradually increasing speeds, and investigate if we can read faster than the average reading speed (200-300wpm) if presented this way.
From WPM indicates the initial WPM that the words are presented;
To WPM indicates the highest WPM that the words can be presented in. It must not be less than the from WPM and is limited by factors such as browser refresh rates.
Duration indicates the time needed for the WPM to increase from the initial value to the final value.
